And we are now taling not only about the winning of the races of the Lotus Team and the production of new models, but about the very loud and unfortunatelly unpleasant experience of the luxury sports cars Lotus Company. After the removal from the position of the chief execitive office and after the start of the investigation of a head of Lotus Dany Bahar, Proton issued a statement saying that DRB-Hicom has no plans to sell the brand.

A hit back on rumors about the Lotus and their deal with Proton

Without denying there were great numbers of rumors and news about what is going on among Lotus team and Proton. In fact, Proton has been a long-term partner of the company and was there in its hard times and high times. Going back a little into history, it should be mentioned, that in 1996 Proton actually made one of the biggest acquisitions and it was buying around 64 percent of the Lotus’s shares. However, later the company bought up the number of shares to 100.
