Lotus Team Had Left From the Second Test Session

It is already known by everyone, that the Lotus auto concern has some issues, which should be solved in the nearest future. However, all in all, the company is doing just great, trying to keep up its paste as it was before. However, not everything is sunny, and we have found some information, which in fact is connected to the event, which was in the beginning of this year, but we still suppose it is worth mentioning, even now.

Technical difficulties forced the race car E20 of the Lotus team to cancel the test rides on the racetrack in Barcelona. The team decided to completely miss the second test session, which ran from 21 to 25 February 2012. Lotus expected to resume the race on March 1, when on the track “Catalunya Montmelo,” began the third part of the test runs, and in fact the company did that.

What happened was that on the first day of second test session, the pilot of British team drove seven laps and then found “strange” behavior of the car. “In the morning E20 ran already in two races – Lotus Operating Officer Alan Permane told to the Autosport edition. – Shortly after a car appeared on the track, it became obvious that it does not work as it should. Thus, we needed to leave from the second test session.”
