The Owner of the Lotus Brand Will Sue the Dismissed CEO

As we have mentioned earlier the details about the fact, that Dany Bahar has been dismissed from the post of the CEO. Some of the information became known to us, thus we want to share it with you. Malaysian company DRB-Hicom, which belongs to a group of Lotus, will submit a lawsuit against the former head of the firm Dany Bahar. Executive Director of Lotus Cars was dismissed in June 2012, and 10 days later appealed to the High Court in London. As it turned out, Bahar demanded that Lotus Group should pay him 10.6 million dollars for the early termination of the contract. Once the DRB-Hicom received notice of the proceedings, the company decided to make a counter-claim.

Dany Bahar headed Lotus Cars in 2009.
