The Green Concept of Lotus Company – Exige 270E Tri-Fuel

As the auto companies are becoming more and more environmentally continuous together with their drivers and fans. In fact, the whole car industry has made a great step in the eco field. In addition Lotus is greatly concerned with ecology because it also would allow the company to save on the places, where they can reduce the inefficiency.

Thus we have found some interesting information about the green projects by Lotus. At the Geneva Motor Show Lotus company has introduced a new concept Exige 270E Tri-fuel. The main highlight of the machine is that the engine can run on three different fuels in this car. According to engineers, the new products capable of moving on methanol, bioethanol and gasoline.

Under the hood of this car there is installed a 1.8-liter gasoline engine with 270 horsepower and 260 Nm. With this engine the car can accelerate to the first hundred quite fast, if compared to the existing models. It takes only 3.88 seconds and a top speed of the car is 255 km/h. The concept was greatly liked by everyone, including the critics and even competitors. However, the future fate of the concept is currently unknown, but we hope it will be of a use for the company.
