“Offscreen” Lotus F1 Employees Shared Their Impressions

Summer break – a logical moment to take a running total of the season, and, the last 11 races are necessarily to analyze the potential of the team, only with sports or technical point of view – we can talk about the techniques with the emotional side. Press Service of the Lotus F1 offered employees who are bases in Enstone, who rarely come to the Grand Prix, to share the most vivid memories, dated in the spring and summer of 2012.

Since the team is conducting a very successful season, the mood of all elevated, and after the August break team will be ready with new powers to take the job. Fleur Foster, Manager, Customer Service, Marketing, said “For me the brightest race of the season so far was Canada. A trip to the race, along with all of our guys brought me a special experience, because the first time I saw firsthand as one of Lotus racers on the podium. Now I want to see the first win!”

Julian Watts, Inspector, Department of control says: “It was great to meet Kimi Raikkonen when he came to the base of the team. He came to us in the department, was photographed with the whole team, and it was just wonderful. The team is really playing well, Kimi and Romain Grosjean had some great races, and I hope that at the end of the season, we will break into the top three in the constructors’ championship.”
